Milenkovich cycle - cause linked to ice melt?

The Milenkovich cycle (orbit of the Earth, no it aint got 2 wheels) OK thats lost most of you (here is the Milenkovich cycle is defined:

Global warming is an important issue and I can not find anywhere the mention of the Milenkovich cycle and the possible cause ( try Google ) which I think could be linked to global ice melt.

We are currently seeing massive ice melts all over the globe (eg. Arctic sea and Bogs in Siberia ) and this must be changing the balance of the Earth which will eventually affect the orbit of the Earth.

Or is this wrong????

This relationship between the Earths wobble (move from its original spin/axis) and global ice melt has been made here:

OK Here is my two cents worth

1 90% of the worlds ice is floating so when we have total melt down the ocean will only rise about a foot (30cm)

2 The Northern and southern Lights are caused after certain solar eruptions and only show near the polls because that's where the ozone layer is thin. When were the Northern lights first recorded in history? Hmm.

3 Remember when we were conned into re gassing our Air Conditioners because Freeon was blamed for destroying the ozone layer? It's heavier than air. How would it get up there?

4 Probably not on topic but - Unleaded petrol contains 3.5 times the amount of resin as the old leaded super petrol. How is that good for the environment?

5. Do your own searches for this. How many cases of Alzheimer's disease are there now in Australia and the USA compared to pre poisoning our water with aluminum-fluoride?

6. How much energy do you think we'll save by no longer using incandescent light bulbs? The alternatives require more bulbs for the same amount of light. Not to mention our dimmer switches won't work on the new bulbs and will have to be replaced.

Are we being conned?? Taken to the cleaners again?? Our Australian government wants to go Nuclear to "save on greenhouse emissions"

Hi Larry,

Therefore, that means that 90% of the worlds ice has locked a massive amount of water in one place. When melted the distribution of weight is huge, and is likely to cause a Milenkovich cycle.

Dont you think?

(not sure where your other points fit in to the main discussion here, although they are global warming related, so I suppose you needed to get them in and off your chest....)
